The Holocaust: A Lesson for Mankind

Love and Hate

I'd say most of us are familiar with the name Adolf Hitler, the most famous dictator who caused  harm to much of Europe. He ruled in a little more than a decade, but that was all the imprint he had to stamp on the world. Such a message of hate spread by just one. Just one person to ignite a fire of discrimination to Slavs, Poles, gypsies, the disabled, and most of all Jews. Ten million were killed, six million of them Jews. Its a disturbing thought.
There was help, a resistance against the Nazi regime. Whole countries were willing  to give all they could to save as many lives as they could. Mainly because they they knew inside that what was going on was wrong. Thousands were saved due to the heroism of such countries as Denmark, Switzerland, France, and many more. It just goes to show that in the end, good will always overcome evil.
