In the night after a
sweet summer’s day
The sun leaves
behind the moon at its place
Roaring waves crash
by on the ships at bay
A cool, crisp breeze
blows the hair from my face
It’s hard to compare
the stars light above
The way their beauty
shows a path to tread
Very easy it is to
fall in love
Can’t steer your
eyes from the black cover of dread
The illuminated sky
now seems dark
Is that a cackled
laugh I hear from far
What happened to
that peace I felt from the sparks
Blinded from the
dark that kept me to par
This night has given
me a cost to pay
Try finding me here
if you dare to stay
Great job Simran!!!
